Life is competitive. If you do choose to be a participant rather than a spectator there are a few key points to keep in mind;
You can't see what's ahead of you if you keep looking back. The past is the past; move forward with committed focus. Learn what you can, as quickly as you can, from any mistakes and move on. You can't do anything to change the past or relive it. You're briefly in the moment and heading toward the future; do so with purpose.
Everyone makes mistakes. The key is to not repeat the same ones over and over. As long as you make a point of learning from your errors, looking for a way to rectify any negative fallout and move on, you'll be fine. Placing blame or beating yourself up over the matter is, more often than not, a big waste of time. Get over it and get on with improved performance.
Challenges can't become problems if you immediately focus on the solution. Recognize a potential problem when it arises and then, rather than dwelling on the woe-is-me downside of the issue, instantly devote your focus to the solution. Anyone can complain and whine; it's those who can create solutions who get things done.
Don't imagine obstacles that aren't there. Many people pull themselves off the path of success by imagining, "What if I fail?" and wondering, "What if I can't do this?" along with any other number of distractingly negative thoughts. If a stumbling block does arise, go around it or jump over it and, as we've said already, keep going forward.
Manage success intelligently. When you do receive monetary reward from your endeavors enjoy it, but also set funds aside so that you don't fall into a feast or famine cycle. Save some of the windfall to make sure your needs are sated should you encounter a brief moment of hardship. You're less likely to let the down moments discourage you if you can still afford to eat.
One of the best ways to prepare yourself for success is to present an already successful image. This doesn't mean accumulating debt by overspending on designer apparel or high priced accessories. It simply means being clean, polished, neat and up to date. Take care of your appearance and your health. Maintain your wardrobe, hair, skin and nails. When you look good, you feel good, and when you project confidence and a positive outlook, the good things that lead to success are more likely to come your way.

Fashion Can Be Affordable
You don't need to shop at high-priced boutiques and specialty stores to stock up on style!
Take a look at major discount retailers or consignment shops. When you look for pieces that are up to date but still reflect a classic cut and flattering fit, you can easily put together an adorable outfit for as little as $50.
Watch current style trends and add a few very modern pieces that are age-appropriate and properly fitted to your wardrobe. You can easily give every outfit a fresh look by adding a new accessory or two.
Don't top off a fun new outfit with a ratty old jacket. Pick up a nice springtime overcoat for $30 or less.
Step out in clean, comfortable footwear, too. If you go for a heel, make sure it's low enough that you won't be uncomfortable after a few hours. Low heels and flats can look very nice and dressy; just be sure they don't look like something you'd wear to the gym.
Shopping on a budget never means you have to sacrifice style. Look around for the latest deals and you and your finances can keep looking great.
Think of AVON for fun apparel and especially cute jewellry and accessories!

Open Your Eyes to the Style of Glasses!
There was a time when wearing glasses wasn't anything to be excited about. Those days, thankfully, have changed! Now we have so many options for cute, fun and fashionable frames. Getting to wear eyeglasses is actually a great way to put a stamp on your personal sense of style.
How to choose the right frame? Make sure you pick a frame size that compliments your face shape and size. If you have a tiny little head, pick a frame that's small enough to sit nicely on your face without overwhelming your features. If you have a round face and full features, opt for a bigger frame.
If your eyes tend to droop down a little in the corners, consider a cat-eye or slightly upward angled frame to give your face a bit of a lift.
Don't fear color! Colorful or patterned frames can add a playful touch to any outfit. With today's low priced eyewear, there's no reason you have to pick just one pair; get a couple of different frames. Select, for example, a bright red pair and then one in a more neutral tone; possibly light olive or a classic tortoise shell look.
Take a look at all the exciting eyeglass options that are out there for you today. We're sure you'll see something you like!
(Don't forget to play up your eyes with tasteful makeup, even when wearing glasses. Order your AVON eyeshadow, mascara and more today!)
